I had a emergency lap in September for what they believed was a torted ovarian cyst- however the cyst was not torted but I did have dense pelvic adhesions everything was stuck together my bowel was stuck to my pelvic wall and bladder to uterus, they found my Fallopian tube to have hydrosalpinx and be swollen and damaged. On my right side they could not see my ovary or tube as my bowel was stuck on top of it, but gynae have said that they think I’ll have hydrosalpinx that side too.
They think it’s from chronic PID but I’m now under a new consultant and they’ve said possibly endo but I’m having to wait a year for another diagnostic lap!!!!!
I am constantly getting flare ups of pain and ovarian cysts, I had a scan this week that now showed adenomyosis, I’m unsure how this has never been picked up before!!
Me and my husband have never tried to conceive naturally but in light of all this we have booked to see a private fertility consultant, are we doing the right things? I’m So confused by it all and devastated all we want is a family!

You need a lap first I would guess but no harm in ttc whilst waiting usually I would talk to your endo specialist about ttc not a typical fertility specialist as they don’t know about the condition
We’ve already booked to see a feirlity specialise because my hospital have said we will most likely need IVF I have had a lap as an emergency and confirmed hydrosalpinx and dmaanged tubes, also dense pelvic adhesions, which they said will result in an ectopic, so I’m not happy to try naturally until we get a fertility specalist opinion
In your case you need complete excision surgery ASAP.
It's preferably to avoid a diagnostic laparoscopy because it won't unstuck all the organs. You've already received a laparoscopy and the ovarian cyst leaves no doubt: PID doesn't cause cysts so it's either endometriosis or both endometriosis and PID. You don't need a diagnostic laparoscopy. You need full excision + adhesiolysis and what not.
