Hi everyone I hope you are all doing okay during these unsettling times ❤️ I got referred for a diagnostic lap in October which was expected to be in April to determine if I have Endo. Obviously that won’t go ahead now, and since October I have been taking my combined pill back to back following the advice of my consultant. I’m just a bit worried because of how long I will be potentially doing this for now, as it was only meant to be a short term way of managing my symptoms before my op. Although my symptoms are a lot better because I’m not having a period each month, I had a migraine in December the week before I should have been due on my period, and have just had another one two nights ago followed by horrendous stomach pain and an upset tummy last night. I know if you have migraines you shouldn’t continue the combined pill, but I’m worried because the mini pill was horrendous for me and going pill-less made my symptoms 10x worse. Just looking for a bit of advice and other people’s experiences thank you xx

Hi hope your okay!
I’m similar, in due to have my diagnosis lap for endo although got the diagnosis for adenomyosis. However my mom has blood clots on lungs so I can’t take the combined but I’ve been told to until op take my mini pill as a double dose age ( take it back to back anyway) but since doing this I’m having more ‘flare ‘ ups and dizzy spells and headaches !! ( family history of migraine too) hope it starts to settle for you! I can’t find anything to help but thinking of you
Hey thank you so much for replying ❤️ Sorry to hear you’re in a similar boat, it’s such a difficult time at the moment not knowing when the surgery will happen because of everything going on. I felt horrendous on the mini pill so my consultant let me take my combined pill Yasmin back to back instead because I’ve never had any issues with it for all of the years I’ve been taking it migraine wise, but now that I’m taking it constantly it’s like my body can’t deal with all the hormones or something! X
Hi I suffered the same thing started at age 29 now 31. My gp stopped microgynon straight away when I told her my migraines were a lot more frequent than my usual. ( I suffer from migraine) due to my age and being high risk of stroke. I am now on noriday, one hormone not 2. it has helped a lot. I get period every 28 days, free flow no pain almost like I'm not on with no pain.
