Hi everyone... I have had 2 ultra sound that have shown up 3 cysts which they think are endometriomas. The gp referred me to a endometriosis specialist which also agreed with this. I have had my MRI scan now and have to wait till the 3rd June to see the specialist again but today I have this stabbing pain in my belly button which travels downwards I was just wondering if anyone has has experienced this?
I haven't had any surgery done in or around my belly button.
Thanks

That's quite strange. I have scar endometriosis on my belly button from 2 past laparoscopies. Can you try a castor oil hot water bottle treatment at home, place the hot water bottle on the affected area.
I have just met someone who had endo in the belly, first time I had heard of it. I can imagine the pain is the same as any endo, so hot baths etc. Is it possibly flaring up with pain because you are ovulating or having your period? Is it cyclical or just sore all the time? is it getting worse?
I had the same thing! I Googled it awhile ago and found that pain in that area can sometimes be 'deferred' pelvic pain... My mum also has endometriosis and said she used to get the same thing. Best thing for it was a heating pad.
I had my first lap done 2 weeks ago today and they did find some endometriosis behind my belly button (umbilical something they called it, but I can't remember the proper name for it). Hope you feel better soon 💕
