Is this normal?

Hi all,

I'm on my period for the second time in two weeks.

I'm in so much pain , blood is honestly pouring out of me like I'm weeing, I feel light headed ,sick and like my brain is going to explode!! (Sorry for the gross information)

I'm so scared, I don't know what to do !

I do see my gynecologist till May and I feel as tho there is something really wrong right now !

Please if anyone has any advice will happy take it !

Hello your story is like mine.

I have soaked through my pad, pants and jeans several times with bloody and it’s like a sudden gush of blood loss.

I have taken mefenemic acid which is a tablet that clots the blood but I don’t think it personally does the job 100% as I still bleed. I am now on the pill which gives me lighter bleeding but I bleed constantly now and still have pain and iron deficiency.

What have you been diagnosed with? What meds you on? Xx

Hi it nice to hear I'm not the only one , I will have to speak to my doctor to see if they can out me on .

At the moment I'm on no medicine as I have tried almost all the contractive pill but they all make it worse I have been on one clotting medicine in the past and I ended up passing very large clots

And I have had a diagnosis as they say in too young for anything to be wrong , however I a gynecologist every 6 months

The pill doesn’t seem to be that good for our condition in my opinion as I am on one and still bleeding. It makes it lighter but doesn’t stop. If we are of an age to bleed then we are of an age to have problems x

Also transexamic acid or mefanamic acid... there pretty good with that.

I am on the pop pill ( progesterone only) for exactly same reasons as u , i bled constantly on and off for 7 months...

So far i had one period that was ok and havent had one since .. which is what i was hoping for( no periods

At all)

I am 45 so wanted to just stop them all together
