Hi, I’ve had endo since I was 21, I am now 26. I managed to give birth to a beautiful baby boy last in 2018, but I feel like my endo is getting worse. I’m in pain. I was wondering if endo can cause Diarrhea? I’m terrible with it this past month, so I feel like it may have spread? I am due a laparoscopy again in March. Just wanted to know if anyone else suffers with the same thing?
Thanks.

For years one of my principal symptoms was terrible diarrhea around my period time. When I was finally diagnosed after 18 long years deep endometriosis was found on my uterosacral ligament. The hypogastric nerve runs through there so endo in this area is known to cause bowel issues. In fact it's often misdiagnosed as IBS as mine was.
Also during an extreme attack of endo your bodies reaction to pain can cause sudden emptying of the bowel and vomitting. So to answer your question yes. Make sure you mention this symptom to your surgeon to ensure they check that area thoroughly during your lap. X
