I’m always tired never feel energised and could sleep for days. I’ve been like this for ten years and I’m 27 now, diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis In October.
My iron and thyroid was checked last month it’s fine! I’m just so tired is this related to the endo and why does endo make you tired?

I often feel tired, and just achy. I liken it to those couple of days before you’re due a cold or something nasty, except nothing ever comes. Sometimes i push through it and feel I achieve something if I get dressed on a day off, and others I just give in to it and spend it napping on and off. I’m 28 now, and have had persistent symptoms since I was around 23. I’m like you, had recent bloods and levels were all normal. Reading around seems to suggest it’s just another effect of having endometriosis, doesn’t make it easier, but at least it provides some explanation.
I am exactly the same and have just been diagnosed with stage 4 endo as well. Have had all the tests known to man including thyroid and iron and loads of others and started to think I was going mad as they all came back normal. My consultant has said that the tiredness is totally linked to the endo as your body is constantly trying to cope with the symptoms of the disease. Xx
I’ve had all the blood tests done and full blood count it’s all fine I would of swore my iron was low it was a few years back but it’s fine now.. clearly the endo hust takkng it’s toll sometimes easy to forget it’s there when you can physically see it like a broken arm or leg!!
I put a lot of my tiredness down to the amount of painkillers I take, I feel quite zombied at times. Also, on a bad week of pain, when my pain is like mid stage labour pains, that’s also exhausting. Life is done in short bursts of activity, hour or so here kind of thing x
