Anybody had the Mirena Coil fitted and not bled!?

Guys!

I had the mirena coil fitted on Friday (after already having one laparoscopy for Endo, I am trying this before going forward for my second op!). The Doctor said I needed to have it done during my period - I was supposed to start Friday and had every feeling that it was imminent however since she put it in (my god did that bit hurt!) I haven't bled at all! (I've spotted fresh blood, I'm assuming due to insertion, however no actual menstrual blood!)

I wasn't overly bothered by this - I assumed that putting the coil in had maybe upset my body or stressed it out and therefore stopped my bleeding however I have done a bit of research online and everyone has gone on about how they bled excessively after it was inserted!

Someone please tell that you have had it inserted, not bled however everything was fine!!

I had mine fitted under GA (literally all that they did) due to padding out with smears. I spotted after it was fitted but nothing more than that.

I had mine fitted years ago and have never bled with it - it's great!! I think it just depends, as I know folk who have bled. 😊
