Hello Ladies,

Hope your all well.

I was just wondering if any of you can help me please.

I'm wanting to know if there's anything I can take to stop my bleeding.

Implant, marina coil, zolazex, prostrap injection, transexamic acid and Norethisterone all I've tried with no help. I've also got high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes & stage 4 Endometriosis. I'm getting frustrated now. I'm in a lot of pain and bleeding heavily. The last I've tried was Transexamic Acid & Norethisterone. I've had about a week pain free and no bleeds.

My body has had other ideas. The blood is vivid red. I feel really tired and exhausted.

Sorry for too much info.

Thank you so much

Sam.

I was put on cerelle which is a progesterone only pill, you take it everyday with no break. This worked perfect for me, no bleeding and only mild pain but since I have birth it stopped working :( Its the same story with mefenamic acid tablets too, they worked wonders for slowing the flow and numbing the pain. Hope you find something that works for you :) xx

Hello Lea_Lo,

Thank you for replying, I appreciate it. At the moment nothing seems to be working. I was on depo injection for 13yrs. Which was bliss, no periods for 13yrs. But now the drs wont put me back on it because of my blood pressure and diabetes. That's the only thing that worked for my monthly. Sorry for whittering on. Just that my other half or drs dont understand.

Thank you again for replying.

I understand and I totally understand how upsetting this is.

The worst thing about this is everyone's body is different, what's good for me (which is nothing at the moment!) could be the worst thing for you..

Has the doctor not suggested anything similar and safe for you to be on instead of the injection?

I hope you find something soon that works for you I really do! 🤞 xx

I have heard they can burn the lining of the uterus to thin it. Doesn’t sound like fun though I hope you get something to help you. My 18 year old daughter is going through the same thing. Her bleeding has finally stopped two months after getting the Merena IUD. Good luck

Hello Angellouise,

Thank you for replying back I appreciate it. They've tried to burn the lining of my uterus. But cant do it as the endo has made another track they dont know where it leads to so they couldn't put the camera in. I'm allergic to the mirena IUD and the implant. I hate having this disease. The pain at the moment is unbearable. 😥 I've got my fur babies to help me.

Thank you again for your reply.

I take both Mefenamic Acid and Tranexamic Acid together. I thought it wasn't working for me but persevered and about a month and a half to two months in saw some improvement. I still bleed more frequently than 'normal' but I bleed less heavily. I was at the point of just sitting on a towel due to flow and clots. I do still have some heavy periods but there is a noticeable difference.

Oh it poo isnt it

Im goin through same thing at mo...

Im 45, nothing now working...

There trying to put a mirena in but i dont want one...

So im now on degesterol ( prog only pill) , transexamic acid.

After bleeding on and off constantly for 7 months ive had a whole month period free and when i came on last time i had no pain?!!?? Which is unheard off, didnt have to take a painkiller??

I did bleed for 11 days though ...

I saw dr for month check and my blood pressure was back to normal( usually really low), iron levels were normal( again really low).

Plus she reckon if i persevere they may just stop after 3-4 months so hoping it does coz nothing else has worked .

Hope u find something that works for u... it a case of trial and error with endo and periods
