I had a mirena coil fitted in May and since then I get extremely painful breasts about twice a month. The pain is very similar to the breast pain from engorgement when breast feeding and my right breast in particular is noticeably swollen. It lasts a few days and then goes? Does this happen to anybody else?

I've only had mine for a couple of months. But yes I'm noticing more tender/painful breasts at points in my cycle. It is one of the listed side effects of the mirena coil.
