Period Post lap

Hi. I had a lap to remove endo in August, before having it my periods came on time. Since having it im getting terrible PMS, bad ovulation pain, swollen boobs, nausea etc straight after my period has finished and my next period is here within 3 weeks. Does anyone know why this is? I see my gynaecologist on the 30th

I’m so sorry you have to go through this! Post lap my periods were awful as well. My gynae told me it was because it takes you a long time to heal internally as its ‘wet’ so will take a long time to recover.

I would go to the doctors and get some strong anti inflammatories and start taking them a day or two before your period - this helps me!

I promise it will settle down - my lap was in May and my last period that I had was such an improvement with hardly any pain.
