I've had it for a very long time, it's so frustrating! I initially put it down to vaginismus but I think it's possibly endo related, not quite sure how though but it's one of the worst things for me because you can't really stop it and you cant do a lot about it in public! x
I agree. It's a horrifying pain. Quite scary... and it makes me want to stay away from even thinking of sex!!
I do!! I have not been formally diagnosed with endo yet, but all my symptoms seem to point to it according to several doctors I saw. I have been getting these pains for the past few months and it's horrendous. It can just happen any time for me, like in the middle of a meeting at work...never had to work on my poker face that hard before !
Haha heat pads are amazing! They do them in the pound shop and they're honestly the best ones Iv had and obviously cheaper than the ones in stores. Maybe have a box in your bag for a just in case moment x
thanks, I have heat pads with me too but for that sort of pain they can't do much for me unfortunately. Heat pads, hot water bottles and hot baths have been my best friends for the past couple of years... I'm seeing the gyne consultant in December to potentially get a diagnosis lap! Xx
Hi I get it. It’s endo related for me just another symptom to manage. Not found anything that helps x
I get that too. I also get the feeling of pressure with pain pushing down vagina! The only way to describe it is like when your pushing during labour. It's horrible! I have polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis but I am very fortunate to of been blessed with children. Xx
Hi,
yes... sadly I have these horrible stabbing pains too, but towards my left side. Is your pain coming from the middle or one of the sides?
My gyne thinks it's scar tissue or adhesions. And actually the last scan found that my left ovary is stuck to the ovarian fossa.. So my pain comes from inside but more from the left ovary/womb side. It's a horrible pain and because it's inside.. it's very hard to explain it to others and you can't just put a hot water bottle on it!
I'm desperate about this too and also have left-sided thigh and knee pain. At times is pretty bad.
Have you had a scan at all? That will show if there are any endo adhesions causing this pain. x
Yeah I had god knows how many ultrasounds and an mri scan, something has coming up on my bowels and my womb is thin. I have my 2nd laparoscopy next month xxx
Oh bless you.
It can be so frustrating. I feel very low today thanks to these pains which have never gone away, even though I had my very first laparoscopy 3 months ago!
Best of luck with your 2nd laparoscopy hun! I'm sure you'll feel better after this second one.. You are bound too.
have you been taking any hormone treatments? xx
I really hope so! Just keep fighting! And I’m only on the pill atm, I tired the coil but it didn’t agree with me and made my pain worse. Are you? Xxx
Yes. We need to keep fighting and stay positive but I guess some days are worse than others...
I was put on this horrible pill (mini-pill), Cerazette, and I've taken this for 4 months now.. 13 days into the 4th pack. It's been horrible: very heavy long periods (10 days max) and every 10 days!! So I have 2 horrible periods in a month plus a lot of more pain thanks to the heavy bleeding. It's basically doing the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do: "stop" my periods. Yeah right..
I called my gyne yesterday and he'll send me a new pill prescription. But I'm terrified with these pills as I took them years ago and they have never been good with me sadly. xx
