I started having pains in my left pelvis back in the summer,Dr sent me for a transvaginal ultrasound and results came back with a 7cm endometrioma. My ca125 was also raised at 696. Paid to see a private gynaecologist consultant who told me not to worry as ca125 is just an inflammation marker and is common with endometriosis. She put me on her surgery wait list to have my right ovary removed but she said this could be up to a year. No other contact. Is it normal to wait this long?
