Coil trouble

Hello all,

I'm just wondering other peoples opinions and experiences with the coil as a treatment for Endo?

I had mine fitted in February when I had my diagnostic lap as the doctor said it was the best available treatment currently! It has helped massively with my bleeding as I am now only having spotting.

However it has not really helped with my pain ! At first I found the bad days were not as often as before but recently I feel like I am back to square 1 ! I am 2 weeks in to a horrendous flare up and it doesn't feel like there is an end in sight !

Now to wait to see a specialist in November :(

Any tips for pain management other than the usual hot water bottle, hot baths and pain killers would be much appreciated :)

I feel lucky , it literally gave me my life back. It did take about a year to settle. I appreciate it doesn’t suit everyone. My niece couldn’t get on with it. I hope it settles for you soon.
