Possible Endometriosis, quite nervous about the diagnostic process etc.

Hi I went to my Dr on Thursday, as for months now I have been having pain in my stomach both Lower and upper, that sometimes spreads to under my rib cage, also pain in the tops of my legs and Lower back, the pain is always worse when my period is due and the Dr said he thinks it's possible Endometriosis. Also crippling pain around ovulation some months.

I have a blood test on Monday, and he has booked me in for an US and referred me to gynaecology. I was just wondering what the process for diagnosis is like? I'm really scared as we lost a baby in February, and we have been trying since and from what I have read endometriosis can make you infertile? I have had a few ultrasounds, one last October and one after my miscarriage both said the lining in my womb was "thick" would this be typical of endometriosis?

If you have read this far thank you 🙈

And thanks in advance xx

Hi I’m in same boat have you got children previously?docs thought I had it before I got pregnant I lost my baby at 12.5 weeks now I’m stuck as to weather I should have an operation and it potentially damage my ovarian reserve and more scarring or try again and miscarry again I’m so worried the consultant will ask you if you want the pill or operation but as we are wanting to become pregnant I don’t know what route to go try again or op

Hi yeah I have 4 children, but since my youngest I have never been right she's nearly 4 now. My GP asked if I wanted to try the Depo and sew if it helped but then I'm thinking if it's not endometriosis that's going to stop us trying for a baby for no reason 😩!

But normally I fall pregnant quite easily, but this time it's just not happening at all so I am starting to think something is wrong so think I'm going to have to take the plunge and go for whatever tests they need to do xx

The only thing they do is a op I also have 3childrenpreviously my last one I misscarried that would be my 4th he told me to go on pill but I’m thinking I won’t get pregnant then I’ve just been offered to be referred back to consultant he will give me a lap but we have an appointment in December me and partner don’t know wether to stop trying now or have the appointment and wait for a lap what if they don’t find anything back to square one! I do have cysts but I just want my baby now don’t know what to do for best have you had a cezerean?

This is my problem, but Dr thinks referral is going to take 8-10 weeks, and I just don't know if I can deal with the pain any more. Last time I was going bed at 8:45pm and getting palpitations and shivers due to the pain 😩!

But then I don't want to go on contraception if it isn't endometriosis and lose the hope of getting pregnant.

No I haven't had any c sections x

I have been re referred and the consultant can see me 2nd December but that will be just a consultation I’m not very hopeful cause I already know there’s only one option really if I’m not pregnant is to have surgery but I don’t want my chances to lower because like I said I’ve got pregnant before 4 times but the last baby I lost at 12.5 week my symptoms are slightly better since so I’m not in massive pain only when I bend but I’m on the endo diet which is helping and I was on it before I got pregnant last time for self measure I believe that’s what’s eased a lot of pain even period not as bad as some people but before diet in severe pain

Have you been actively trying I’m just saying this cause it took me 5 month last time but I was inactively trying only 3 trying slightly tracked my ovulation properly only one month and got pregnant straight away

I lost mine 2 days before I was 12 weeks, yes I have been tracking everything, never had to before though it always just happened 😩

It's so hard knowing what to do isn't it? I guess I'm just on a waiting game until I get my referral through x
