Can having another Laparoscopy help with fertility issues?

Can having another Laparoscopy help with fertility issues? I had a laparoscopy 2 years ago, i had some endometriosis burnt of my left ligament and had deep set endometriosis where my rectum is attached to my cervix and vagina (I decided not to have this treated as there was lots of possible complications).

I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now. My gynaecologist did say at the time of my first op that if i try to conceive and after a year i still haven't fallen pregnant then i can have another op to help clear any endometriosis that has grown back.

Has anyone had experiences of this helping with fertility? i'm worried that the recovery of the op mentally and physically is too much? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you! x
