Hi All
I have my op tomorrow and doing bowel preparation I hope all goes well I go in at 11am I’m
a little apprehensive 😬
I hope you’re managing ok!? I sympathise with you - I went through that experience last year. Good luck for your op tomorrow!
I had this it’s awful made me feel sick as hell xxx hope you are okay
Thanks for your message It’s awful I’ve nearly finished the second dose but nothing as yet I wonder how long it takes to work I may be up all night I suspect 😭 xxx
Mine worked about an hour after I had finished both sachets. I found drinking it worse than going to toilet. I’ve got same as you stage 4 endo and on bowels wish you all the look for surgery I had mine last month xxxx
I’ve had some movement now sorry to share that these satchels are absolutely awful 🤮it’s horrible drinking them and I agree it so forced. I’ve been drinking since 5 and only just been to the toilet so I know I’ll be up all night xxx stage 4 Endo is awful I haven’t had a period in a year I pray this operation sorts things out xxx I’ll keep you posted thanks for sharing
Operation went well. I’ve had one period since surgery and my endo was painful so I’m hoping that’s not the case on the next one. My bowel feels better tho. But I’m prepared it might not last. I lost my right tube in July from and ectopic and they managed to save my other tube in my op so I was happy about that. Do you have children or want any xxxx
That’s positive that the surgery went well I have a constant swollen tummy and Pain I lost my appendix 😭 Endo took over it and now it’s attacking my bowel. It’s also twisted one of my Fallopian tubes. I do want kids yes and haven’t got any as yet have you? I may have to go down the IVF route xxx
I had surgery in August this year, wishing you all the best with your surgery, I didn't mind the bowel prep, just try and focus on the goal. After everything we go through with endometriosis, the ends justify the means! I hope you feel much better after surgery.x
Thank you so much how did your surgery go? You are right I need to focus on the end goal 🥅 not long now. It’s so hard endometriosis not many people have heard of it or understand it xxx I’ll keep you posted there is light at the end of the tunnel xxx
My surgery was successful and they freed my bowels and ovary, as well as removing the chocolate cyst which about 10cm. My first 2 periods were the same as before surgery, painful and horrid, but the third one was much better. I think once you begin to heal from the surgery things get better. How did your surgery go?
Great news so happy for you that your surgery was successful, Mine wasn’t as successful they couldn’t remove my bowel from the node as there was a risk that I may need a permanent bag but atleast they separated my organs which should relieve some of the pain. Quite sleepy at the moment 😀 I have a heart condition too so the Asprin makes me bruise too! But thank God I got through and appreciate you asking thank you
So sorry it wasn't a complete success but I hope you get some relief from your symptoms as a result. At least your surgeon's were careful and didn't leave you with uneccessary complications like a stoma bag. That honestly was the thing I was so worried about with my surgery right up to the moment they put me under.
That is understandable, be brave. This time next week, it will be as it never happened. Let us know when you get out of surgery and how it went. Thinking of you.
Hope all goes well, I have mine scheduled soon, just have an excited but nervous feeling. Good luck you’ll be fine, just keep thinking of the silver lining xx
Good luck I’m sure all will be well take and I hope you recover quickly x
YeH do il be thinking of you x
