I've got a date for my op! 🥰

I can finally say I've received a date to have my operation. This forum and web chats with people in similar situations has really helped and provided such important support and information. I must admit I am slightly nervous but I just hope it all goes well without complications and I can finally start to feel like me again. I hope to read more success stories for others suffering this horrible disease.

Fingers crossed for a quick and smooth recovery.

Thankyou all 🥰❤️

hi, happy you are getting the treatment you need. I am 76 and had lap surgery 7 weeks ago. Mine was removal,of 5 inch cyst both ovaries and both Fallopian tubes. Yes l felt tired and dragged down for a while afterward, but because of my amazing anaesthetist removing the gas from my abdomen had no bloating after pain.

I can only say listen to your doctors and don’t be afraid to ask any questions, l wrote mine into my diary and took it with me to my pre op consultation. Please stay positive and as l say write down your questions as they occur to you.

Will watch out for any comments you want to ask, stay positive xx

Hi, it's about a year I think. I have a feeling I've been suffering from it long before I really started paying attention to myself. However things started declining with my health which affected my mental state. I new I needed to get checked as I suffered horrendous pain, passing clots and an imploding cyst. They found cysts on my ovary and diagnosed stage 4 endo and extensive scarring. I hope they can detach the endo lining from the organs and I will heal fairly quickly for my families sake. After Covid it's another battle to challenge but you have to stay positive 🥰
