depending who conducts the scan a gynae can you tell straight away but a nurse won't know much. MRI is better than ultrasound scans as it detects everything in the pelvic area and bowel. I didn't know I had endometrioma in my bowel stage 4. Refer yourself to bsge centre you will be in best hands. Good luck
