Hi there! I’m 8 weeks post op as well, and JUST went to yoga for the first time today. I realized pretty quickly the my cat-cow series was very limited by ab tightness, etc., but I went gently. I was so discouraged because, of course, doctor said I’d be “back to normal” in two weeks, but that was not my reality. I’ve been having nervy type pains for about two weeks, but they are starting to improve. I wish you the best!

Thank u🙏 I’m still a bit swollen but I think I will give it a go from this weekend n see how I feel. I never had to live without yoga So it’s been pretty frustrating. I wish u well too💗

Let me know how it goes! I, too, have been going through it emotionally without yoga. I’m in the USA - they really seem to underestimate the healing process. What was the healing timeline you were given, and where are you located (generally).

They told me 2 weeks!! I was so upset cos I cud hardly move. They lie so much I feel like those who don’t care shudnt be doctors! They shud be lawyers instead.

I’m in the UK.

It’s so nice to connect w someone who has the same thing going on. Tx so much for reaching out. I m so thankful for this forum.

I’m 5 months post op and just started back yoga this week. I did have a lot of work done and only really felt back ready this week.

I did get some twinges and things but I did take it easy.

Ge gentle. If the pain doesn't subside too, I'd look into another potential surgery
