No belly button?

Hi all, I had a diagnostic lap a week ago, with two cysts and endo removed, and I’ve just changed the dressings for the first time. When I saw my belly button, I cried so much, and I’m struggling to not cry writing this. My belly button is completely flat, and looks as though it’s almost been sewn up. Please tell if this is something you went through and what happened/how you got over it?

I’ve always hated my massive belly button when I was a kid, but as I got older, I kind of love it. Now the idea of it being completely gone is heartbreaking. I know it’s only a belly button but it the confidence behind it.

Hi I had the similar thing! And I couldn’t see it. After recovering for about 3 weeks I saw it again. Try not to panic I’m sure it will come back x sending hugs
