Hidden ovaries

I’ve just had an ultrasound and the sonographer couldn’t find my ovaries. I haven’t had surgery to remove them and I’m wondering if they could be scarred in place behind my uterus, which would account for the extreme pain I’ve been in. Anyone had anything like this? I have had an MRI and waiting for the results but I’m very worried on the outcome of the ultrasound. I’ve had Endo since I was 14 (now 44) and struggling to get two consultants to see eye to eye and just let me have a hysterectomy or at least surgery to free up anything that is scarred down. Laparoscopic surgeries (3 now) have not worked, Pill hasn’t worked, Zoladex hasn’t work. Just thoroughly beaten by it all now 😞

I had the same.. she said it was because my bowel was full! I felt so angry as it was a waste of an appt. I wish they would have told me before to empty the bowels! 🤷‍♀️.

Thanks for sharing. I couldn’t have been more empty and they did the ultrasound with a full and empty bladder and bowel. I really think they’ve become adhered somewhere out of sight. Isn’t it horrible when they throw that comment out there and then don’t follow it up.
