Difference between burst cyst/endo pain

Hi everyone. I'm currently awaiting a laparoscopy for diagnosis but my gynae thinks its endo. Anyway, the last 2 cycles I've noticed the pain gets worse about 7 days after my period ends. Throbbing lower back, pains down my leg and stitch, pulling/twisting pain in right hand side. Feel very heavy, bloated. I spot regularly but at this time it looks like (sorry to be graphic) congealed blood with tissue/pus?!

Could this be a burst cyst? How do you know the difference between endo pain and a burst cyst? I had an ultrasound a few months ago which didnt show anything. Is this usual?

I thought the only way to diagnose was by laparoscopy?

Thank you for your advice! I've gone private in the end as my GP only referred me to a general gynaecologist. Can you message me details of the centre you are talking about? I live in south Yorkshire. Thank for your help xx

I can only comment on my own experience but when I had a burst cyst the pain was indescribable. I was on the floor unable to move and had to call an ambulance to get to A&E. I've never experienced pain like it.

Same here. I was in so much pain I was vomiting and fainted.
