I had my second laparoscopy in March to remove an ovarian cyst and Endo from my ureter.
Prior to my surgery I had horrific lower back pain and even after my surgery, it has just continued.
Over the last few weeks the pain has got significantly worse and it’s 24/7 - it even wakes me up at night.
In theory I shouldn’t have any Endo at the moment because it was removed in March so I don’t understand why my pains never stopped and are actually getting worse.
Has anyone ever had 24/7 lower back pain and a numb sensation in their back? What is it? I’m worried it’s something serious.
I haven’t been able to get a GP appointment for weeks and I’m not seeing my consultant until the end of the month. Should I phone 111? It’s starting to affect me emotionally as well as physically.

Hi, I'm suffer very badly from lower back pain and pins and needles down my left side, I have endometriosis and I'm waiting for a full hysterectomy, bowel reconstruction and a removal of a tumour, I've been put on gabapentin with out any joy, but I go for a medication review tomorrow, I'd go back to your doctors as I totally understand how it effects your life,

Was it excision surgery or ablation surgery? Have you ever gone to a chiropractor to exclude issues with your spine and hips? Sometimes they can be affected if you suffer from endometriosis and seeing a certified chiropractor will help.
Hi BethanyAnn, I had an operation 5 years ago that left me with a burning left thigh, nothing has worked and am on a high dose of tablets, I rattle some days. About years ago I started with serve lower left back pain, senstive touch like my leg and it was making my leg worse so another round of test and they find a slight slipped disc, went to see specialist neurosurgeon. Advised it was not the slipped disc as too tiny to cause the pain I am in this was December 18, move forward to April I finally get a call to say that I now need to have a Ultrasound comes back with a cyst, need to wait 12 weeks and have another, this was a couple of weeks ago due to waiting lists etc, I have now have a couple more on my left ovary they can't seem to find my right. Anyway Im rambling as I do my Dr has said I have endo but wants it confirmed by a gynaecologist. I use a tens Machine that seems to reduce the burning a bit and as I am at pain Management tomorrow I am going to ask about having permanent implants to help with the burning thigh and now this back pain. I just wonder if they are related and it was just coindence that the burning thigh is the start of endo as I always have a bad back asI have fibromagylia . I would suggest using a tens machine for the lower back pain. Pregabalin sort of works with Tramadol and Amitriptyline. I have always been told if you are in serve pain call 111
