Pain and ache

Doc thinks it's endo. I'm waiting for scan and camera. I've had my dull ache left side and lower back pain for weeks but yesterday it has eased. Do others experience this or is it 24/7. Could be the pain killers I suppose

Hi, my pain is very inconsistent. It comes and goes and varies from dull constant ache to sharp pain which stops me in my tracks. My GP has mentioned endometriosis but I'm still waiting my appt with gynae. I've been before and had scans but it showed nothing.

I'm waiting for camera and scans. Past scans have shown nothing. I've had dull ache left side over many years and even missed a year but had this dull ache and back ache for six weeks so doc thinks endo. It's so frustrating after reading website etc

Yeah mine started 5 years ago and it comes ago. It settled for a little but now it's back and I'm more determined to pursue a diagnosis. Just want answers now. Mostly the pain is bearable but then it's the times that it isn't makes me realise something needs to be properly investigated. They look at you like you're making it all up though which is so frustrating. Hope you gets answers with the next scans.

I only recently joined this and it was such a relief to hear other stories. It can be very frustrating when the medical profession (usually men lol) act as if we don't know difference in the pains we experience or that we aren't familiar with our bodies.

It sounds familiar. I got a cyst removed in Feb 16 and by July 16 a cyst was back on the left side with worse back, shoulder and added sciatic pain that has been the worst pain I've experienced ongoing. The left pelvic pain is constantly a dull ache then kicks in harder most days. You are most certainly not alone here. It's a judgement free zone and safe to moan! We're all here to support each other with a much more intense understanding of the pains suffered as we're all suffering together. Take care, hope you get some relief soon. Wishing you better x
