Only just recovered from surgery and the pain is back!!

I had my surgery in April the day after my last zolodex and I had all the endo removed at an endo centre but 2 months later I’m in pain again. Not sure if it’s linked to the break through bleed I’m having on my new pill - they’ve put me on tibalone 3 months on 1 week off. I missed a pill and I’ve been having a break through bleed for 6 days that’s finally stopping but the pain in my legs like endo pains are horrendous I’m scared it’s aoresdy coming back :( I’ve been pain free up to this break through bleed

Hey! So sorry you're in pain again. I had my op in January and was in pain very badly after the op, different type of pain but on morphine the whole time. I thought my old pain was coming back at three months but it's settled down now but to be honest I was in pain for about four months after my op. I'm almost pain free now (touch wood!!) Still achey but nothing like before but I do get the odd day that's bad.

Sorry waffle self obsessed reply! My point was, I had days of pain but then it settled down? So I really REALLY hooeyoure just having a bad patch but will be comfortable again soon. It's so scary when pain comes back but I really hope it's just a blip of pain and you'll be comfy again soon. It can take months to heal as well, so it could be recovery if you are doing more etc? Fingers and toes crossed for you! I hope you feel better soon xxx

It could be that your right, only had pain since this break through bleed on my pill and it’s a new pill they prescribed me after my lap. Thought it was tibalone but it’s loestrin 20. I forgot to take one and since then I’ve had a break through bleed only just stopped but they could be the cause of the pain. I haven’t fully given myself a chance to heal really.. I’ve bedn back at the gym, back working back doing everything maybe I need to take it easy again. Lots of rest and chill

Wow you super woman!! I was barely walkong at your stage?!? I know everyone's journeys are different. My op had five procedures in the end (cysts, draining fluid, rearranging organs etc!) So my pain was horrific post op. I went back to work (nursing on my feet on busy unit) after six weeks but was part time. Jesus it was so hard!! I just felt exhausted by everything! So please please be nice to yourself and allow your body to rest. I was so impatient I was chomping at the bit to get back to work etc but ended up just sore all the time and scared it hadn't worked etc.

Fair play going to the gym and working etc!! But please be gentle to your body, it's been through a lot. Rest. Have bubble baths and don't worry too much if your physical activity levels aren't what they were before. You can work out or get fit/active when you're fully healed. Don't rush it my sweet, be nice to yourself (haha I sound so much like my mum just after I'd had my op!!!!).

Hope you feel better really soon, a new pill is hard going anyway! Sending happy vibes xxx

Might of over done it but I did spend 3-4 weeks in bed it was hellish probs need to just slow down a bit and stop the gym for a little while. Cos now I’m like owchhhhh haha. Thing is I have a chronic bladder infection and constipation and this so the endo nurse said it’s like a storm going off in my pelvis hard to know what’s causing the pain!

But I’m in bed now for a few days chilling. If I wasn’t self employed I’d officially be sacked 😂😂

Wowsers, two months is nothing. Yes to bed rest. I think a good movie marathon/Netflix binge/good novel and blankets are in order? Maybe some yummy snacks and cosy jammies too??? Yeah ignore the gym, it's not your friend right now.

Oww sorry there is loads of other things going on, your pelvis is like a little party for all this mischief going on in your body! Try to relax if you can, being in bed all the time is enough to drive you stir crazy (I ended up buying loads of light fittings and arranging workmen to come to my house and was totally addicted to eBay and buying furniture for my house!!!). But please go give yourself a bit more time. Can you work from home? Maybe make your bed/sofa into your office and get some work admin done? With snacks? Hot beverages? And a treat like trash telly etc. I hope your pain settles, I think k slowing down may help. I really hope you feel better soon, I fear the pain coming back so badly so after two months it must be terrifying for.you xx

Pain was gone completely until my break through bleed it does make sense why that would cause pain as I haven’t had any bleeding for 6 months due to the zolodex injections so the first time I’ve had any bleeding for such a long long time :( my body must be like ahhhhhh! And so much going on too yeah haha

I’ve finally gave in and took pain killers not sure what they recommend for endo? Anti inflammatory drugs? I’ve just taken simple paracetamol to start of with seems to be toning it down

I agree too much to soon! Surgery was only April 19th mad really!

Love a hot drink and trash tv lol
