I've been having the classic endo symptoms and had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at the end of June at a private hospital. Doctor found polyps and adhesion but no endo.
Had my 1st period after op in July and it was very heavy and painful but already expected to to be. Having 2nd period now and it's still as bad as 1st period and feels worse than before my op. Taking strong painkillers but not effective and the cramps are so bad I can't go to work or had to leave work early. Is this normal?
I also get nosebleeds practically every month around my periods. The bleeding is clotted, just like my periods and would just start without any cause. It was a Chinese doctor who told me that it could be endo and to go to see a GP about it but I haven't found any doctor in the UK who thinks it's related.
I'm at a loss at what to do next and it's making me feel so depressed.

Hi! I am really sorry to hear all you are going through. It is frustrating to hear after a lap that it is not what you thought and would explain what you are going through. What I can tell you is that the only doctor who can confirm that there is no Endo is a specialist. If he/she is not, they do not really know what they are looking for and can easily miss it. Endo is tricky and can hide out disguise itself.
I wish you the best and hope you find the answers and relief you are looking for.
The gynae I saw is meant to be a specialist and a lot of people I encountered at the hospital said she is good so I don't know if I should go for a second opinion.
