Had a lap March 4th and my periods have been regular and normally since but this month I don’t know what’s changed- I had my period on sun 21st July- it was fine but a bit lighter than normal, finished thurs 25th and then we dtd mon 29th but ever since then I’ve been spotting. It’s never happened before and I’m still spotting and it’s been nearly a wk.
Why has this happened??? And should I expect my period as normal in the 19th???

Did you hv a dand c done also? Then your period could be delayed. A pregnancy test needs to be done and cervix exm by doc .also pap smear done in the past? You had lap for ablation of endometriosis?
Some women do experience spotting around ovulation, so perhaps it's that.
Our cycles do change a little depending on temperature, mood, illness, daily life, stress, so it could still be recovering from your lap; sometimes healing has a delayed effect on hormones. It could just be an odd cycle; I get one every four months where it's 25 days but usually I'm 28 for the other three months, so it's a bit crazy.
You could do a pregnancy test around when you expect your period. How bad is the spotting? Does it come and go, or all the time? Does it interfere with your everday life and sex? Or is it something you can just put a pantyliner in and just forget until you go for a wee? sorry for all the questions! If it's bothering you and your everyday going about stuff then it may be best to book a doctors appointment to visually check stuff.
