My last flare up in my endo pelvis pain was march, since then I havent had no pain or anything. Is this normal? As I am due to go in for surgery in august and feel like I dont even have endo anymore.

Are you on any birth control or anything like that? If you are sometimes that can mask the symptoms x

Yes, they put me on the microgynon to reduce the pelvis pain as I had endo stuck behind my uterus was very painful and throbbing constantly. Being on the pill stopped all the throbbing pain, but I had to tricycle the pill and have 7day break every 3months which would flare up my pelvis pain. But in March I got hospitalised for the pelvis pain then discharged now I should be getting my normal flare up but nothing no signs of pain or opening my bowel.

I was on the pill years ago and they think it masked what was going on inside as I didn’t have periods with it. I don’t think endo can disappear. It’s probably still there but you aren’t having the symptoms as you are on the pill. Some ladies don’t have pain unless they have a period and others have pain all the time. This will be my third lap and the consultant told me I can’t take anything before the lap as he wants it at its worst and said that the pill or coil can mask it all and it’ll be more difficult to find where it’s located. If I was you I’d still have the lap and then you’ll know for certain x

Okay I see, Yes he did say to me not to take the pill on the night before my surgery. I am going in 2 weeks time to find out the results from my MRI and then they will explain how they will carry out the surgery. Yes I will dfoz have the surgery as the one behind the uterus is definitely there as they said it was trapped. Thanks for sharing your experience. x
