Hi everyone, I only joined this group today and have already found useful info, so thanks! I had an appt with the gynaecologist today and they have suggested changing my contraception and waiting for another scan. I was just wondering how long people waited between seeing the gynaecologist to getting the laparoscopy? I hope the cysts change and the pain stops first but I just wanted an idea of time frame. Thanks x

Hi. It took me about 2 years to have my laparoscopy which diagnosed me with endo. On Monday, I had my second laparoscopy. My gynaecologist put me on medication first and I went for ultrasounds. It took ages if I’m honest but at least I had a diagnosis in the end. The waiting list for my gynaecologist was a year each time 🙁
