Frequent urination

My bladder has always been weak but recently I am having to go to the toilet constantly! During the night I’m up 4/5 times. Doesn’t matter how early I stop drinking. Sometimes I’ll fall asleep for half an hour and wake up with my bladder so full that it hurts. Does anyone else have this?

I have my diagnostic lap on Monday. I have had issues with my bladder for years with frequently peeing so maybe just that rather than Endo. I will find out on Monday though.

Full sensation of bladder and constant feeling to go urine can be symptoms of cystitis, or the inflammation of the bladder, I suggest you to have an examination in the hospital, and if it's confirmed to be cystitis, you can take some natural measures to cure it, such as natural therapy of diuretic and anti-inflammatory pills, acupuncture, etc.

I get this all the time, throughout the whole day. Difference for me is it feels completely full, but there’s actually nothing there. I have endo on my bladder too x

It’s awful! Mine isn’t quite that severe but I feel it’s getting worse and worse. I have my lap on Monday so will see what they say then.

Might also be worth investigating interstitial cystitis and getting an exam by a specialist women’s pelvic floor physiotherapist who can assess if your pelvic floor muscles are dysfunctional. This You Tube video is really helpful :)

I’d try anything at this stage. I was so excited today because I only got up once to per last night and that is a miracle! Thank you for your reply. X

I had the same problem until I had my chocolate cyst removed and all of a sudden I wasn’t going the toilet every half hour. I think sometimes it is caused by things pressing on the bladder.

Yeah it defo feels like more than just a weak bladder.

I had that too. For 2 years I suffered. It was awful! Before that I had a strong bladder. I finally got my endo diagnosis 4 wks ago and they found endo all over the place including on my bladder. They assured me they got rid of the endo. I'm still recovering and still experience the urgency when I drink a lot of fluids and have citrus but I haven't had any bladder pain which is good, just discomfort when full. Ive noticed a little improvement since my lap. I'm trying to re train my bladder but have to monitor my fluid intake still. Hoping once my body is recovered more, I will see a big improvement. Bladder urgency really interferred with my life. I understand what you are going through. Hope you find the cause and proper treatment soon!

Wishing you all the best!

Get a referral to urologist, you might have IC. A urologist can do a cystoscope to look at the inside of the bladder to see if there is a problem there. There are some drugs that might help this. Solifnicin which helps with bladder spasms, sometime last they do bladder installations of ant inflammatory to help settle the lining. It could be endo on the outside causing the symptoms. Have you been checked for urinary tract infection?

No I haven’t been to the docs for a urine infection! It just seems to kinda come and go so maybe could be that. I will for sure be going to the docs anyway. X

I've had something similar since November, had UTI symptoms every month for 5 o the 7 but only a handful have been confirmed UTIs. It's really annoying isn't it?!

Yeah so annoying. I’ve cut back on what I’m drinking so much that it’s orobablu not even good for me!

See I rarely drank anything anyway and was told now I HAVE to drink at least 2 litres a day which makes me gag trying to get it down me!
