How long do you wait from a pre-assessment to getting your laparoscopy?

I had my pre-assessment last tuesday and am awaiting my appointment for my op but still haven't heard anything yet, this is my second lap but i just can't remember what happened first time around and how long i had to wait. i feel like i'm just on hold waiting for a date, don't want to make plans or pay off my holiday "just in case".

I had my pre assessment a few months ago and they said the pre assessment is valid for up to 6 months. So I’m guessing it’s a long wait. Try calling the consultants secretary or in patients for gyne and they might be able to tell you where you are on the list. I’ve tried calling today but no answer so left message and surprise surprise didn’t get a call back x

I got a letter from the nurse at pre op on the same day with my surgery date last year but it seems other hospitals don’t do this. I waited about a month for mine but it was only because I contacted PALS xx
