Hi guys looking for some advice had a laproscopy in London on 24th April. Stayed in overnight. Basically they said there was no active endo, I didn't know if that's because I've been on triptorelin for the last 10 months. I've previously had two laps with endo. So they said about adhesions but nothing major and that it was around my mitrofanoff.
Anyway fast forward 2 weeks, and I'm due to go back to work only had 2 port holes. But then I'm having major tummy pain, abdomen was distented, being sick etc.
So got sent home twice from a and e locally and then got admitted and told I had a small bowel obstruction. Had ng tube and gastrgraffin. Ended up having syrgery and staying in for a week as had another lap with 6 port holes and took over 5 hours to dissect the adhesions and my bladder was stuck to my bowel.
My questions is how in two weeks does it go from one extreme to the other? Did London miss something in first lap or what I'm so confused. X

Who performed the excision surgery? Was it a specialised endo surgeon? I legit have no idea how they could have missed adhesions and a bladder stuck to the bowel, it sounds like they didn't remove the adhesions on April 24th at all, which indicates severely poor training
This is what I can't understand as was at uch who have an endo centre there, which is who I was referred too?
Plus when I had a lap locally in 2010 there was some adhesions then and they put a litre of adept in which is to stop things sticking I believe. So discharge doesn't really say anything apart from satisfactory and that its all in the op notes. I ring to ask secerety for op notes and was asked if I was sure I had it there. I was like yes so I was waiting for them to ring me back or send me a letter and nothing. I may have to ring pals tomoz. X
I think you need to get referred to a BGSE centre, a different one, a better one or preferably a Nancy Nook excision surgeon. Whoever performed the lap in 2010 or in April wasn't good enough to treat your case. Get the notes from the lap if you can and maybe message me back with clearer info best of luck!
Sorry I've probably confused you the lap I had done on April 24th was by bgse centre! But as far as I'm aware if things were sticking etc they never told me and compared to 2010 who treated me well locally. If things were stick then why didn't they put the adept in to prevent anymore sticking.
I don't get how within two weeks I went from a clear lap after 10 months of zolly with no active endo found. To then two weeks later being in my local hospital with sbo and bladder stuck to bowel etc and having a 5 hour operation and being in hdu, it don't make sense to me.
Vdery weird. Either you are very susceptible to adhesions and they reform easily and they didn't take the precautions during surgery to prevent that from happening or it wasn't a good BGSE centre. I would change centre.
