I had my first lap this morning, removing 2 patches of endo, I’m now home and sore (and tearful)
I want to say Thankyou to everyone on here that has supported me throughout this journey.. without all of you giving advice and helping me I would have driven myself mad.
Ps. Would you make yourself eat even if you didn’t feel like it? Last general anaesthetic I woke up and ate everything in sight. But today I really don’t want to eat, just forced something down in the hospital so I could go home haha

Well done you! You did it! 😁 I hope everything went well for you. It's ok to be tearful. Just take it easy now. I hope you have a speedy recovery. You'll be back in action in no time 😊
Hi that’s good let’s hope you become pain free. How long do they sign you off for after surgery as mine is in a few weeks and I don’t know what to say to work?
Hi cazywazy. I had my lap last Saturday and the surgeon signed me off for 3 weeks. I’m a nurse so do 12 hour days standing, so I don’t know if it depends on your job. I’m def not ready to go back yet 10 days on x
Thank you Kate86 I also work In the hospital doing admin dealing with heavy notes all day,It’s just good to have a rough guide so I can tell work so they can get cover. Hope you feel better soon
Hi gabbiefawn Hope you feel better soon. I’ve found since my lap 10 days ago, to eat little bits at a time, and smaller meals. When I’ve over eaten it’s caused me bloating and cramps. Hope that helps xx
