Bleeding for 5 months

Hi all

Can anyone help - I am so fed up.

I was on zoladex last year for 4 months which I was bleeding throughout the first 3 months.

My periods then stopped but I finished zoladex and my periods returned on November. Since then I have been bleeding EVERYDAY which is now nearly 5 months.

I still have a period but throughout the month I have light red to brown bleeding. Enough for me to need to wear protection.

I have spoken to my GP, endo specialist & fertility specialist and they can’t help as I am due to start ivf soon.

Has anyone else suffered with this and got it under control?

I’m also worried that ivf surely will not work if I am bleeding all the time.

I would say double up the pill as I was told to do that but if you're going to start ivf probably not. Bless you starting down that root. You will need all your strength in body and mind for that. I agree with you that you will need the bleeding to stop. Sorry I am no help at all. Surely there is something to stop it. The last thing you need while trying to start a family is to get anemic. Keep on at the doctors. Take care of you. Hope you get it sorted. Xx

I can relate to the constant bleeding 😥. In 2017 I bled for 9 months straight had my laparoscopy Dec 17 where no endo was found... in then thing settled for a while my periods were horrendous but regular so that made it more manageable. The past month the constant bleeding has started again 😥. I feel like I’m about to have a period all the time but it doesn’t start. It’s brown bleeding like you described. I don’t know what to do as they always tell me there’s nothing wrong with me 😒.

Hello, have u tried natural herbs to aid u in this? Oregano is a very good one to help with hormonal imabalances and evening primrose oil, I take them in oil tinctures rather than pills, I use a lot of medicinal herbs to help with my endometriosis and have had one ivf cycle with the nhs and waiting to have my second. I was pregnant with my first but sadly ended in a miscarriage as I had an undiagnosed sticky blood, clotting factor. But I try and stay away from all of the pharma medicines if I can and I found the herbs do a much better job x
