Pain between shoulder blades

I had my lap on thursday 3rd dec where my surgeon burnt off a section of endometriosis, I also have it on my bowel which was left, Does any of you lovely ladies get a pain between your shoulder blades. Not sure if this is the endio or not. Many thanks sweeties xx

Hi, it could be the air that they use during the lap, it can cause pain higher up in the body, get some peppermint tablets and tea, that will help disperse it,

As said by Tboag.. The pain will be from the gas they used to blow your stomach up so they could see inside... My advice is to sleep sitting up... Drink peppermint tea, suck polos(anything minty) and try and burp/fart as that will disperse the gas.

it might be cause of the laparoscopy, i had shoulder pain then and they said that this is due to the gas they use to fill us in order to have space to work within....if is it so then dont worry it will disappear so soon gradually.

I had that earlier this year and I drank flavoured fizzy water. Also peppermint tea.

Hi ladies how long does the shoulder pain last i had my lap yesterday they removed a cyst but the pain in my stomach is nothing to the pain in my shoulder and ribs x

Hiya! How did you find the op and recovery? I'm due to have mine next week! Completely letting the nerves take over me at the moment! My gyna said when I have the lap I will suffer from pain in the chest and shoulder blades which is from the trapped co2. He said I will need to have a gentle walk round the house every once in a while to help disperse the air. Hope this helps xx
