Hey ladies, so my MRI results are out and the scanning showed that there's no endometriosis!!!
The good news are that my gynae said it happens that the MRI not a reliable method all the time and so next week the medical team will discuss how and when my lap will be.
Best of luck, I hope that they decide to do the lap soon!
How did you go about getting an MRI? I have been wondering which dr is the best to ask about this, gp or gynea when I eventually see them. I know that they aren’t reliable to show up endo but on the off chance my problems aren’t endo I wonder if an mri could answer any questions that the ct and ultrasound missed.
Actually my gynae referred me to the MRI. I guess that may show some abnormalities in some cases.
Wishing you all the best xx
Hi, just wondered how much of you they scanned? Was it just pelvic area or did they do whole abdomen?
My GP thinks upper Abdo pain I have maybe endo and I am waiting for appointment for an MRI arranged by consultant so not sure what had been ordered yet!
Fingers crossed for your lap

Thanks Tegster!
They just did the scan for my pelvic area, since my doctor is suspecting the endo on my bowel.
Maybe it's different in your case or how your GP thinks.
All the best of luck xx

Thanks for letting me know. They think the endo is on my bowel too and was only today the GP mentioned about it possibly being higher up.
Funnily enough I got my appointment letter after I asked this question and it is just the pelvis. I am thinking I may ask if they can scan higher whilst I am in there!
