I kinda need some help over symptoms, I haven’t had a period this month due to the zoladex which I’m pleased about but last few days I’ve been getting a sharp pain in my left ovary and the painful sex has come back to an extent.
Luckily he is understanding and always asks if it hurts and if I’m okay etc. We try different positions and some hurt some don’t which is an improvement from last year.
I’m a bit confused as I don’t know if all my endo has gone or if I still have some etc. It’s hard to tell as my periods have stopped but I always have lower back pain and dull/sharp pains in my pelvis and lower stomach area.
Forgot to add I get pain after sex again as well 🙄

I also get painful sex/pain after sex and stabbing pains in my abdomen. I didn't find any decrease in that after my lap and removal of the endo, so I've always assumed they're kind of permanent features of my life now? As depressing as that sounds!
I'm having my sixth zoladex injection today and I am still getting those stabbing pains. It doesn't eliminate the endometriosis it just shrinks the endo and it can cause scar tissue to stretch which adds to the pain. I think SarahMia is right it is just the nature of the beast.
Yeah because I didn’t start treatment till 6 months after surgery so I always had a feeling the endo could have grown back but my gynae said zoladex would help but he is pretty useless xx
I had the same issue, I had surgery they said I'd go on to have IVF then six months after the op all the endo was back. So I had to start at square one with the zoladex again, but it has been good treatment and I have had a decrease in size but I wouldn't say its been significant enough to avoid risks during the harvest, so I just have to take my shot xx
