Been keeping track of my symptoms for a little while. I don’t get all of them every day, however the list is always long. What do you guys think, does this sound like endo?

• lower back pain

• groin pain

• lower pelvic pain

• constant pain in those areas

• flare ups where everything hurts more than usual! Literally cannot describe the pain!!!

• shooting pain in vagina

• uncomfortable pain in vagina

• little cysts/spot looking things on vagina (comes every now and again)

• can be painful when passing water

• constipation

• diarrhoea

• bloating (to the point where people think I’m pregnant)

• blood in urine with little clots sometimes

• brown blood before period

• extremely painful period cramps etc.

• heavy bleeding during period

• nausea

• fatigue

• pains in stomach

• hip pains

• Hurt to have / to try and have sex some times

• sometimes hurt after sex

• bleeding during / after sex

• headache

• feeling lightheaded

• chest pains

So far that’s what I’ve been keeping track of!

Hi, quite a few of them are symptoms of Endometriosis, I've just had a laparoscopy and been diagnosed.

My advice would be keep going to the GP and get it checked out, I'm pretty young and kept going to the doctors and kept saying it could just be painful periods but I kept going back until they rendered me to gynecology and I had all sort of scans an they found nothing so they did a laparoscopy Wednesday.

During surgery they found quite a lot of Endo and my left Fallopian tube was damaged due to Endo, hope you're okay hun here if you need a chat I'd definitely get it checked though x

I’m calling my doctors next week. The gynae told me to come back in six months but I don’t feel like that’s right. Everyday I’m in pain and scared about when the next flare up will happen!

Glad to hear that you got it sorted though! Obviously being diagnosed with endo isn’t the dream but at least it’s a diagnosis! X

Yeah keep going back and hopefully it'll quicken things up I had a bad flare up months ago its really difficult but Atleast by having the laparoscopy I got a diagnosis.

You know your own body better than anybody elseand if you feel you need to go back to the doctors you should! Hope you get sorted quickly and find out what's causing the pain x

I had a really bad flare up a few months ago as well. Was in hospital about 6 times in two weeks (if not more), and all they did was to check my blood pressure and took some blood tests! Had to sit in the waiting room for hours in agony, some days I couldn’t walk and had to be in a wheelchair! It was terrible.

I’m really hoping for a laparoscopy.

That's awful! I hope you get sorted really soon and get a laparoscopy so you have a diagnosis x

Hi theemmafk,

Welcome to the forum and I am glad to see that are already getting support from all the lovely members on here.

I know you have taken a look at Endometriosis UK already but I thought I would just post some links which you may find particularly useful. Your symptoms certainly sound like endometriosis. You can find more information on symptoms here:

endometriosis-uk.org/sites/...

Information on getting a diagnosis:

endometriosis-uk.org/sites/...

There is also a pain and symptoms diary template so you can record everything that is going on up until your next appointment:

I hope this helps and keep us updated on how you get on.

I’ve had a look at the links and after looking at the symptoms I could add at least another handful of symptoms on my list. The more I read about it, the more sure I get.

I’m definitely going to use the pain and symptoms diary alongside with my little notebook!

Thank you very much for the links and information!
