Hello ladies. I’ve been on the combined pill for about a decade now and been running them three at a time followed by a week break. I’ve started getting breakthrough bleeding toward the end of the second packet. I tried doing a few single months at a time but I just get so much pain after a period I can’t have that every month and hold down a job!
Does anyone have any recommendations to minimise this? My doctor had recommended a progesterone only solution like the implant or injection but I’m nervous about something I’m stuck with if it’s awful! I’m open to the mini pill but had worse bleeding with that about 12 years ago before I found my pill.
