Am I crazy

Hi all,

I was diagnosed via laparoscopy 12 years ago. My ovary has become glued to my womb with endometrial tissue. The surgeon got it free and back in place and removed some of the endo tissues. I was then asked to use contraceptive pill to control my periods and help with the endo. As I say that was 12 years ago. I have been seeing doctors repeatedly for the last 2 years now about issues with my cycle and severe constipation. I have been stopped from using any contraceptions at all now as none work for me and I react to them all. I have been made to use cosmocol every day so I can have bowel movements, and twice a month I get sick. Once with ovulation and again with my period. The headaches, nausea, faint and dizzy, hot sweats, extreme pain front and back, constant need to go toilet (without being able to go) is all too much. But after seeing nearly all the doctors at my surgery and a hormone specialist at the hospital they have sent me away as they don’t know what’s wrong. I repeatedly asked if it could be the endo again to which they shrug and say maybe and try to prescribe anti depressants. I feel like I’m going crazy and have given up trying now. Is it normal to need to take medicine every day so you can pass stool? And could this all be the endo? I’m at my wits end and a total loss as to what I can do next. I find it hard to find out about symptoms about endo, and know everyone suffers differently, but could I be right about this and my symptoms? I feel insane!

Hi I had issues with constipation for years and was always told it was IBS i either went for days without going felt like I needed to but couldn't and then other times when I needed to go i needed to go my consultant asked me about the when assessing my symptoms and it is a symptom of Endo since my first op most days its when I need to go i have got to go the constipation doesn't really happen all that much so I think my diagnosis of IBS was completely wrong and it was the Endo all along. Hope this helps.

Ok, yea that helps a lot thankyou! The constipation issues have been going on for years and years now, but it’s only getting worse. My docs keep saying it’s normal and just the way my body works, but it doesn’t feel normal.

It does sound like endometriosis again.

Contact an specialised gyaecologist right away. You can find specialised endo surgeons in the "Surgeons International" file in the Nancy Nook group on facebook.

If you want to start treating endometriosis naturally starting from the gut, I suggest you check out this amazing endo website: healendo.com (startig from "Grounding Zero to Heal Endo").
