I had a lap 1 week ago to remove a large endometrioma. Apparently the endo was a lot more extensive than thought, and took 3 hours to remove it all, including an ovary and both tubes (he’s left a full depth bowel nodule which might be another operation at some point, yikes).
There was a full depth nodule in the vaginal wall, which he removed and stitched up. Has anyone had this done, and how long did the stitches take to go/muscles take to repair? It’s pretty uncomfortable at the moment and I’m petrified of the stitches coming apart (which happened to me before after an episiotomy, urgh).
I also feel like my pelvic floor muscles are shot to pieces. Hope this will get better soon?
