Period blood colour changes?

I was wondering if anyone else had this at all.

My period has been very dark red to bright red for a while now, but around last month or the month before it was lighter pink and this month it is very pink, quite light.

I'm not on any hormonal treatment at all, but I take EPO, I don't know if that has any effect.

Does anyone else have this, is it anything to worry about that it's changed colour?

The only time I ever had light pink/yellow tinge was implantation bleeding with pregnancy (both times miscarried), with my son dark implantation bleeding. Period always very heavy, brown/black breakthrough blood on prostap or when endo bad between periods.

Maybe call gp for advice x

I used to see an acupuncturist who used to say that the blood should be lighter, she was always talking about that as a goal for us to reach to know that the acupuncture was working...not sure if that’s true but I trust her advise!

Mine does this, dark is usually old blood that has been waiting for longer to be shed, bright is new blood. Pink is usually when there is also discharge which can sometimes be implantation but everyone is different. I had an implantation bleed and mine was quite bright. My little girl just turned 4.
