Hi

I had the same surgery this week too, I don’t have blue patches but I have all sorts of colours from bruises on my stomach, the nurses told me to look out for the stitches burning and raised. The hospital also gave me the ward phone number, iv rang a few times asking all sorts and they have been brilliant so maybe try ringing the ward as well. Hope that helps a little

I had a lap on Tuesday for an ovarian cyst removal, a couple of days ago I came out in the most horrendous bruising on my tummy. Sounds like you’re experiencing something similar. I haven’t been worried about it as they must push and pull away during the surgery therefore bruising is to be expected. But if you’re worried contact the number they’ve given you or the ward which you stayed on post op. Hope that helps and you recover quickly!
