Hey ladies, I’m just come up to my 2 weeks post lap and I’ve noticed there’s a kind of lump under the skin where the incision was made was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and whether I should get it checked out or not?

The tissue underneath can sometimes show scarring as it's healing, this should go down over a few weeks. For some incisions it stays as scar tissue, but shouldn't have any adverse effects on health. It's just the natural healing process - much like when stitching / repairing a cut in clothes or tights - the area bunches up a bit.

Keep an eye on it, don't try to move it too much or poke it. If it gets larger in size, shows a bulge through the skin or becomes red, hot, makes the scar on the surface weepy / smelly then see a doctor.
