Had a laperoscopy for endometriosis. Nurse told me after the surgery there was an insignificant amount, nothing to remove. I haven't heard anything else about it since. That was in August 2015. Now I've been told by a handful of women that endo can actually grow and get worse. What do I do. Can I request another laperoscopy? ???

Did you not have a follow up appointment at the hospital? Usually about six weeks after. You could always ask your GP to get notes from your surgery, if they’ve done it right there should be notes and photos (but don’t count on it!). The thing is some people have little endo with a lot of pain and vice versa. It’s quite annoying the nurse said it’s insignificant because a little endometriosis is NOT insignificant as it can cause a lot of pain. If you have endometriosis you have it and after a lap it can come back. You just need to find the best way to manage it with support from your doctor which may be another laparoscopy or some other treatment depending on your symptoms. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the reply. I was never offered a follow up. They do have a copy of the record my gp checked my medical record for it. I'm back at the doctors tomorrow, I'm requesting my medical record and I'm asking them to refer me back to the hospital x
