Hi,

So I have endometriosis and had it removed in July and the surgeon said it was one of the worse cases he has seen considering i am only 20, they didn’t give me any advice on what to do next and my symptoms are already coming back. I went today to go and have the coil fitted and had 3 lots of numbing and I still could feel everything. I have an extremely high pain threashold, but it was too painful for me to go ahead. Did anyone else have this problem? Any advice would be really helpful!

No, maybe request trying something else that some of the ladies here are taking. I personally wouldn’t want the coil especially considering i have endo - it’s quite a sensitive place in my view. Xx

Thank you for you reply! I wasn’t keen on the idea but my doctor said it will really help me with my Endo but I’m just not so sure anymore! X

No, I don’t think so. I mean I’m not a doctor - but I’ve not heard any positive things about it from ladies with endo.

I was on the dual hormone pill and I did not get any symptoms till I stopped taking it xx

Oh ok! I will look into that. The thought of the coil cringes me out as it is, so now I’ve tried to have it fitted and it don’t go right I don’t think I will try again! X
