Hi been told I have thicking of the womb 9mm got to have biopsy any one had any of these xx

Yes I have had a few of these- are you having it done via colposcopy? It is basically a more detailed smear test and they take a biopsy to send off! I have had it done twice and both times was a clear result!

I have just had my 3rd lap last Monday and also had 9.5mm lining- consultant took a biopsy and I had a camera in the womb to check for normalities and he said all looked perfectly normal- now just to wait on biopsy results!

Fingers crossed yours will be a similar outcome! x

Thank you I go in next we'd for camera and biopsy so worried did you stay awake for it

I am having hysteroscopy is that the same plus don't no weather to be asleep or wake with gas air

Yes I had this......mine was 2 cms thick.......needed to have a D&C and since I was done having kids I had a uterine ablation. It explained why every couple of months I would have a ridiculous drips wirh huge clots etc. The lining would just let go.

They biopsies it and there was no abnormal cells.

So don’t worry.. although the lining should only be a couple of mm thick it doesn’t mean you have cancer or anything super bad
