I think I might over worrying but I was wondering if anyone else has experience of this?
I had my laroscopy to take away endometriosis in my left ovary and various parts burnt away. After having my laroscopy done my periods have changed in the fact that they weren't like they were before it but now 3 months almost 4 months after my periods are pretty awful and show not a regular pattern. My periods are extremely heavy ( I have to wear tenner lady maxi pads I am that heavy). I have been given some tablets to slow down the flow but they don't particularly work, I get quite depressed and my stomach and back are very painful. I just hate it I thought they were going to be better after lap but I just want to them to stop I feel that my periods are ruining my life!
What should I do, need a bit of help and advice xxx

Hi, you'll have had a lot done during your lap so it can often take 4 to 6 months for the body to settle down after; he uterus doesn't like being poked and moved around so it can take time to move back and recover.
Stomach and back may also take time to recover depending on how many incisions, what they did, and how deep into the abdomen they needed to go. I need physio on my lower back as they removed endo from the ligaments that hold it (uterosacral) so it's all weak plus it was protecting my stomach muscles that have been weakened from the ops. It took about 4 months for my symptoms to radically improve after both my laps.
If you can; talk to your specialist and see if you can book an appointment. You should have a 4 month check up anyway, to see how things are and discuss all these things, if you've not got one definitely book one in.
Thank You so much for the advice, I was thinking it was coming back to me, hope your ok and feeling better I really appreciate it. Makes me feel more at ease that it's actually normal xxx
