Good afternoon everyone,
I had a TVS earlier this week and was diagnosed with an endometrial ovarian cyst on one of my ovaries. This is approx 5cm. I had one of these last year and had a lap examination confirming endometriosis and removing the cyst. I am really reluctant to have surgery again for the removal of this second cyst, but I am also not wanting it to get much bigger in size (apparently it won't reduce in size) as then surgery will become inevitable and the risk of losing the ovary will presumably be larger by that time. I've been trying to do some research online to see if there is anything at all that can be done to reduce the size of endometrial ovarian cysts without resorting to surgery but have found no answers. A friend of mine who produces CBD oil (which I'm informed is now legal in the UK) is of the opinion that this works wonders for endometriosis, and there certainly seems to be a cohort of women online who claim the same. However, as far as I can see, the benefits of the CBD oil seem to be more associated with pain relief rather than actually helping to cure endometriosis/cysts caused by endo. Does anyone have any advice of experience they can share with me?
