Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on Friday and felt pretty good Fri/Sat- think that was more to do with the morphine than anything else! I do have some anxiety usually but since yesterday I feel really anxious and emotional and miserable. Anyone else feel like this and did it pass quickly? Thanks xx

Hey Nellie, I had a similar reaction. I felt great the 2 days after my lap and thought I’d feel like that all the time. But then the pain and tiredness kicked in. I now feel ok again (I’m a week and a half after surgery) but had a really low day last week. I was in tears and couldn’t even work out why. I think it’s just withdrawing from the various medications and also just feeling bad because I’m sat at home and feeling a bit lonely.
I really hope you feel better soon. Be kind to yourself, your body and mind have been through a lot in the past week - so don’t feel bad about feeling bad! Sending you lots of positive vibes x
